One way to become a member of the IGS is to apply for a doctoral researcher position at IAMO. We advertise all open positions on our job vacancies. Please, follow the guidelines of the specific job description when applying.
Another way is to apply with/ for an external scholarship: Regardless if you would like to join with an own scholarship already granted to you or if you are seeking for a supervisor supporting your scholarship application at a funding organization: Please consult as a first step directly with a senior researcher with whom you are interested to collaborate and who might act as supervisor. Once you are accepted as doctoral researcher at IAMO you will automatically become a member of the IGS. In addition to the participation in the IGS, doctoral researchers have to be enrolled:
