IAMO doctoral researcher receives poster award

IAMO doctoral candidate Laura Moritz has been honored with the Best Poster Award for her poster presentation. She received the award at the European Association of Agricultural Economists (EAAE) conference held in Rennes from 29 August - 01 September 2023. The poster titled "Can crop insurance index increase welfare and climate resilience? An experimental impact analysis from Uzbekistan" presents results from the KlimALEZ project and is co-authored by Lena Kuhn and Ithiyor Bobojonov. Laura Moritz joined the Agricultural Markets Department as a doctoral researcher in April 2018 and will defend her dissertation at Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg next Monday.
