Mental Health and Early Career Researchers

Scholar Minds, the Berlin Cluster of Excellence Science of Intelligence and the Techniker Krankenkasse invite to anonline conference on the topic: “Mental Health in Early Career Researchers”. The focus is on vulnerable groups in academia and how mentally healthy working conditions and scientific excellence are compatible.

The conference will take place online on October 28th from 10AM - 4PM. The event will be held in English and the participation is free of charge. Afterwards, there is also an option to have an in-person gathering in Berlin to connect and discuss. The conference will incorporate a creative keynote lecture, different workshops, and a panel discussion to set the stage for health-related changes in the academic system. The whole event is a collaborative project of mental health initiatives and guest speakers from across Germany.
